Yes, you’ve got it right. I’m back! In almost 1,5 year I haven’t uploaded anything to this website. All I had were the same, lame excuses: ‘I don’t have time’, ‘I’m too busy’ or ‘After work, I want to rest’. And on top of that, I haven’t had a clear goal and vision for this website, apart from keeping my Dutch family and friends updated about how things are going here. Time for a new start!
And see here: iPat is still alive (or better said: alive again). In all honesty: I still don’t have a clear vision and purpose for this website. But that doesn’t matter. I think along the way, and as I restart blogging again, I will figure out what I desire this website to be and how I fancy it.
A couple of things that have changed or are new to this place:
- A brand new logo. The old logo was based on the front of the Israeli passport (as I had a plan to move to Israel). However, I did not end up in or around Tel Aviv but a little further to the east, in Seoul. So I thought it would be a good time for a redesign and now my logo has a more Koreanized look. It just makes more sense as I’ve been living in South Korea for the past two years. And I am even going to marry a Korean woman.
- Fantastic new, clean design. The old design was quite light and mice already, but as this is a restart of my blog I wanted to do this restart right with a new look and feel. Hopefully with new and more interesting content, but with the same tone of voice.
- Improved security, so you can browse safely on this website.
I’m pretty excited about it, and I hope you are as well. With a ton of new inspiration, I hope to keep on going this time.
Cheers to the restart,
